Cephalopods with Hats, 2024

Having grown up and spent the entirety of my life within 15 minutes of the ocean and 40 minutes from an aquarium that I frequented as a child, sea creatures are incredibly interesting to me and I wanted to honor them. A Cephalopod is any member of the molluscan class, Cephalopoda, which includes squid, octopus, cuttlefish, and nautilus. These creatures have unique personalities and tend to appear goofy at times. At a point in my art career when I needed a break from creative more serious work I created this project to free myself from it,
